Well, it is 80° here today, so I cannot relate to the winter comment. I would however like to go camping!! Sold our 5th wheel in June and have yet to replace it. Maybe Santa will be dropping off a new unit for Christmas?

Dude I picked up a new 2008 Crossroads Sunset Trail 30 BH about a month ago. Towed it to the storage lot and winterized it. I fell your pain. Iam considering a trip at the end of the month to a nearby KOA to test it out. Might get to see just how four seasons a four seasons trailer is.

It's only December, Mike. It's going to be a long winter if you're feeling that way now. I know how you feel though with having a foot of snow in my front yard right now. Those guys from down south don't have much sympathy for us northerners.

I can relate! Sold my trailer just before Halloween....Looking for the replacemnt. Dealers are not getting any new stock...so pickings are slim. Lots of ice this morning on the way to work, well it is Dec. But it's better here than where I was near the Canadain border in VT...HE He

Absolutely can relate!! We have started making our reservations for the summer already (especially for the holidays!) and I get excited with every one. It's hard to read this forum and see how many southerns are out there camping. My In-laws go south in Feb for 2 months and that gets me excited/jealous as well.

Move South. It is 80 here today. Wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops today. It's wonderful.

I am right there with you. We have had some great weather lately with it in the 70's during the day and I am ready to head out. BUT weather here in Al can change in a moments notice. I have TT all winterized and stowed away for the winter and I can tell you just as soon as I made plans and got her loaded it would come an ice storm. I do have one thing that helps me though these months, my son is a Boy Scout and we camp once a month so that does help out. But sleeping in a tent at 30 degrees and in the TT at 30 degrees are just not quite the same. Brrrr!!

It's the opposite for Me... I hate summer and love winter... But then again I live in the AZ desert.

A foot of snow on the ground. "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas" may be true this year. Hope it lasts that long or we get a bit more.
BUT, after the holidays I will be crying over not being able to go camping. We love it so much and May seems soooo far away.
We really do prefer the snow over the ice storms we lived with during our 17 years in Texas. Driving was so much more dangerous there than here with the snow.
But I am with y'all who are missing the campgrounds, beaches, mountains, lakes, desert, or wherever the camping season finds you.
Heavy sigh..........
and Merry Christmas, Y'all
