Number one is Oh Holy Night.... one of my favorite versions is this recent one by Josh Groban:

Oh Holy Night

A close second is Mary, Did You Know?... and I am not typically a big country music fan but I love this version:

Mary, Did You Know?

Mary's Boy Child ! ! ! ! !

My 6 yo DD just had a Christmas concert last night and her class did this song to perfection! Brought tears to my eyes watching her!

I agree with Little Drummer Boy, for sure........growing up poor, this meant a lot to young Mandrake....

Come they told me pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
A new-born king to see pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Our finest gifts we bring pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
to lay before the king pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Rum-pum-pum-pum, rum-pum-pum-pum
so to honour him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
when we come

So to honor Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
When we come.

Little Baby, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That's fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum,
On my drum?

Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
The ox and lamb kept time, pa rum pum pum pum
I stood beside him there pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
I played my drum for him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
I played my best for him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Rum-pum-pum-pum, rum-pum-pum-pum
And he smiled at me pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
me and my drum

Peace on Earth, can it be
Years from now, perhaps we'll see
See the day of glory
See the day, when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again

Peace on Earth, can it be
Every child must be made aware
Every child must be made to care
Care enough for his fellow man
To give all the love that he can

I pray my wish will come true
For my child and your child too
He'll see the day of glory
See the day when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again

Peace on Earth, can it be
Can it.....be....

I like this one, too, Mark, along with many of the traditional religious ones we sang at Midnight Mass. And there's nothing like a children's choir.

I also like "Lo How a Rose," and I'll bet most have not even heard of that one.

Actually, I'm not that big a fan of Christmas music anywhere but in church, especially the "cutsy stuff" that we hear everywhere, like in WalMart.

Josh Groban can sing! I would love to have half his voice, but in a female version

I could probably say that Mary's Boy Child is one of my favorites, but I truly am a fan of just about all Christmas music, as long as it is performed the way it was meant to be. I don't understand why people have to make their own versions of songs. Especially Christmas songs and National Anthems! ! ! ! ! ! JMO

A couple of my favorites:

Please Come Home For Christmas - The Eagles.

Do You Hear What I Hear - Whitney Houston
- - Whitney has had her problems the last few years, but man, sister has got a voice that blows me away.

The Chanukah Song - Adam Sandler
