With bike riding, do they just ride in the road? Do you stay at campgrounds that have special places for the kids to ride?

My DD enjoy riding in the CG but we as a family will take a day trip on our bikes. Depending where we are we will ride to the beach for a day of fun, visits sites or take a nice journey and have a picnic. My DH has a tow along bike hooked up to his bike for our DD whom is 8 so she is safer and it is an easier trip for her but still enjoyable. We always where helmets in the CG or outside the gates. Inside the gates she is allowed on her own as long as it is day light with walkie talkies at all times.
