Thank you. We are going down Monday to pick up out honey roasted ham. We had this first last Christmas .. from Fred Meyer's .. hope when we head to the SouthEast we can get the same kind of ham. Daughter is having turkey and since I don't do "meat that previously had feathers", we will take a ham.

I used to say fowl food .. but some people when I voiced it were offended .. so I now say the above. Of course, my favorite would still be a baked whole salmon with sides of scalloped potatoes and green beans casserole.

I may take a chocolate bundt cake to my daughter's home. -Marji

not yet.....
Michael Jordan's steakhouse serves a trio of mashed potatoes as an a la carte side- vanilla, lobster, and one other I can't remember.
The vanilla mashed potatoes were not sweet, but did have a vanilla flavor.
I was thinking of steeping some cream or fat free half and half with a vanilla bean, maybe scraping out the seeds, and using that to mash the potatoes.

Red Lobster has Lobster Cream Mashed Potatoes right now...one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Two Fried Turkeys, ham, delicous potatoes, cornbread corn, homemade bread, sweet potatoes and homemade pies. Pretty much the same meal as Thanksgiving. Everyone loves it so it really never changes.

Happy Holidays from Santa Claus.
