Afte 10 yrs of a 5th wheel, finally upgraded to a class A. Have a 2003 Fleetwood Discovery 39C with a 330hp Cat. Have not yet had a chance to get it out on the road and was wondering if anyone out there has the same or similar model and can give me some idea of how many MPG to expect? I understand the 39C was a limited production model and there are not many more out there but I would imagine that most 39 ft Fleetwood Discoverys with a 330 hp cat get around the same.

Between 7 & 7.5. Put 35000 miles on my 03 & was always closer to 7, only the wind would push it below 7, & that was towing a 9000# trailer.

With a 300 Cummins towing a car that weighs about a third of that 9,000 pound trailer, I get an overall average of 8.3; so maybe the 7 to 7.5 with a 330 Cat engine is pretty much right, I would think.

Have a 2003 Providence, with the 330 Cat. Toad is a 2003 Saturn.
Do not have a heavy foot, travel around 62MPH and get average 8 MPG.

I appreciate knowing the MPG of these coach, I have been rolling around in mind about getting a diesel but with diesel's costing more, and they don't get any better mileage than my gasser and fuel costing more than gas. I believe I would save more money being content in what I have! Lol, No offense to anyone, incase someone blasts me!

Kind of apples and oranges. IF the gas and diesel weigh the same, the diesel will get substantially better MPG. But most who want a DP want the size and toys that mean they way many thousands of pounds more than even the high-end gas coaches.
IF MPG is #1 criteria, then the lightest diesel is #1, followed by the lightest gas rig (many thousands of pounds lighter) followed by "medium size/weight DP's.

We get about 6.5 average...Wolf10 is right....we get to haul more junk for the same mileage; but I can't disagree with you that the fuel costs on a gas rig will be cheaper.

In the past year I've seen gas cheaper, then diesel cheaper, then gas cheaper, etc.
I wouldn't place any bets on which will cost more or less in the future. It sure seems strange to me the way the prices vary!
