Over the past few years Fleetwood made a large holding tank that attached underneath the rear of the PU, I am looking for one for our 98 Grandview SP? I went to the Fleetwood website and looked underneath accessories and it's not there, and suggestions?
Checked Ebay and looked under holding tanks, grey holding tanks, Nothing.
Can anyone direct me in the right direction or store that I might be able to get one? Or if they are not worth the money, let me know as well.
Thanks,

We may not have much.... But together we have it all.....

There's about a 98% chance that the tanks designed for the new trailers wouldn't fit in the space your trailer has. Also you have to question if you have sufficient CCC for the added weight and if it's behind the axle if it would make the trailer untowable.
As for availability you'd have to go to a Fleetwood dealer to order a replacement; as it's not an accessory but an integral part of the trailer.
Not to mention then you'd have to close the trailer down to drain or still carry the portable tank to drain.

He is looking for the the discontinued accessory grey colored grey water tank that mounted under the rear of the PopUp, not the permanantly mounted tanks used in later Highlanders.
You're on the right track with Ebay. You also will want to check the classified sections on the PopUp message boards, (PUX, PUT, POP, etc.). You can find a blue version of the tank at RV stores that sell Barker brand tanks, (without the Fleetwood mounting bracket of course). Back in 2004 I wanted one too.
That being said, they are probably not worth the trouble. It's a flat 15 gallon tank. You will find that some people had problems when dragging them to the dump station when full over rough terrain, (the wheels would come off).
Mary, you might want measure the area you want to put the tank and talk to these folks to see if they have one that will fit.
Having said that, I don't think it is worth the effort. Unless you get a big enough tank with the capacity for your camping trips, you are either going to have to tote another tank to drain off some gray water or close up the pup to go to the dump station.
Fleetwood Evolution E3 - Yellow (DW let me get a Yellow one since she wanted an E3 with a slide out )
Hummer H2 - Black (DW vetoed the Yellow one, but I got two Yellow Hummer Folding Mountain bikes )
I have a 15 gallon barker type tote and used it on the first trip or two as it came with the camper from the previous owner. I still have it because DW thinks it would be nice to use in certain campgrounds.
I don't think so . . . I have become convinced like many others that using smaller totes like my Aquatainer setup are much easier to deal with. Not only are they much lighter but can be dumped almost anywhere if needed, down a toilet, in a sink, etc. or just at the dumpstation. I often put them in the back of the van when we are leaving to go out sightseeing, etc. and dump them on the way out of the campground. They can also be hooked up to each other to get more capacity without changing them (but look for the ones with the threaded air bleed cap)

Oh well I guess I goofed. As for the Barker tank and rack, the low profile tank is indeed still available, but the rack is no longer in production. You might check both Fleetwood and jayco dealer for new old stock as they both had them as options.
Remember the rack is for storing the empty tank only. It won't support a full tank.
OR, you can go to ronco.com and look over the zillions of tanks they make for boats, RVs, etc....and once you sort out the size, weight, and balance details---and have a tank, any good welder can put together bolt-on brackets....RONCO put all the weld-on PVC fittings anywhere I wanted them to fit my custom-built TH plans----they were affordable, easy to deal with, fast, and they ship anywhere...hope this helps with another very reasonable option.

Am I the only one who just lets grey water drain out on the ground? We just go light on soap and scrape dishes first (or use paper plates, perish the thought!). If I'm in a full service spot, I'd use a drain, but it seems like we only get elec/water. I might not let the gray water gush out all at once, to prevent mud slicks on the site, but a steady stream seems to works fine. Wet clay is as bad as I've seen, pretty messy, but I hav'nt parked on a slab before. I've got the hoses and adapters to move the grey water (shower and sink), but it hasn't been worth the aggravation, yet

Brain, as a new member you weren't around when Florida had their big regulation change several years ago that outlawed ANY RV without self contained holding tanks, not to mention stiff fines for dumping any discharge. We had a letter and email champaign for several months to get at least a change to allow portable sealed containers.
So if you get caught don't be surprised.
Brian, You have just opened the door to one of the hotly debated topics in this forum. Opinions are all over the map and we never seem to reach agreement. I would encourage you to read this tread on gray water disposal and as Mike said make sure you understand both state laws as well as camp ground regulations before dumping on the ground.
