Unfortunately we are still waiting! We took the house off the market during the winter to let it "rest." Our realtor suggested that to be a good idea and we have now re-listed (spring) and so we wait. The market is beginning to move ever so slowly in this area. We are hopeful. I just KNOW my husband must have prayed for patience! LOL
Our timing has always been just a little off.
Good luck everybody!!

We're waiting, too. In fact, we've only had ONE showing since listing it in early May. Feedback was good, saying they like the house but have to sell theirs first. As slow as things are, I'm sure not counting on that happening! If it doesn't sell by winter, we'll probably take it off the market and wait until spring, like the poster above did. Sure hate the thought of another midwestern winter; I had hoped to be somewhere warm by then!

We are waiting too. Ours has been on the market for a total of 5 months now. has been shown several times just no takers, seemed to get a lot more activity after we switched realtors from a smaller local outfit to a national one. As I have been forceably retired (military disabled and then contracts drying up) decided it would be more fun to fulltime and just get out of the rat race for awhile. All other properties paid for except this house, so here I wait.

Well it's finally done!

We listed in February, went through LOTS of lookie lou's, turned down half a dozen offers, accepted two offers with conditions that the buyers ultimately couldn't meet, and last night..... accepted an offer with NO conditions whatsoever, almost what we listed it for and possession on September 15th!!

That means we'll be ON-THE-ROAD September 14th!!

YAHOO!!!!

Woo-hoo Brewen!

And I sympathize with the waiters.....stinks to have to wait.

Why Full-Timing? Because at my age, I have maybe 40 more chances to see flowers bloom.
