Our house in NM sold, but still waiting for the Las Vegas townhouse to go. It's been listed with a realtor since July, and that's when when we left. We went back and checked on it recently and it looks great, but only 6 realtor cards were there. We can't do owner financing on it and can't rent it either because of HOA. Once it sells, we will prob. buy something in another state maybe Fl. And I think we will look first at this site to see who wants to sell.

Yes we are, in a way.
We don't have it for sale yet. We have been so busy trying to get the MH the way we want it and getting rid of or storing things we accumulated over the years.
I will attempt to sell it myself starting in about two weeks or so.
The house and property are not worth a great deal money as compared to other areas of the country and I do not expect that having lower priced housing will take long to sell.
When you can buy for price of renting an apartment I think it makes it easier to sell.
We spent some time setting this up for retirement but oh well. Plans change.

Well we have a showing this evening, first one since before Christmas so here is hopeing the people will like the house! Our agent did say that they have sold their house and are motivated. We did a quick a run over to make sure it is clean. Just had to share this news! Hope you all are having luck with selling your home.

Woodstick, good luck.
We are 11 days away from closing escrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We've been on the go from morning till night for weeks, getting the 5th wheel ready to live full time in. It's parked in our drive-way and we've been sleeping in it the last two nights because we had to take down our bedroom furniture since it's sold.
Our house looks like a cross between an antique store, furniture store and a thrift shop. ....Where did all this "stuff" come from? .. We are using an estate seller to get rid of everything that's left in the house and garage. STUFF is on tables all thru the house, even the clothes we're not taking..
We have reservations for tuesday the 29th-feb 9th to stay at a nearby campground at the beach while the estate sale is going on. After escrow closes, we are heading to Casa Grande for a rally, then we'll come back here for a few weeks to tie up all the loose ends.
We've gotten this far, but I won't feel comfortable until the house closes and the money is in the bank. Like I said, my fingers are crossed.
We are sooo looking forward to NOT being home owners...I've suffered total burnout from all that it takes to maintain a two story home and too much yard. If and when we find a city, state and town we want to live in, we will never again own this much house and this much "stuff".
