RV.net has just launched their official Blog of the Open Road. I have been invited to post every Wednesday.
You can check this weeks post, which is "RV Fire Safety" to learn some important fire extinguisher tips.
Happy Camping,

I was invited too, but didn't feel my ideology on weapons in RV's fit well with theirs so I declined to participate.

I too was invited but since Escapees pays for what I write for them, I have chosen not to participate for free.
Hi Kirk,
This really isn't about self promotion, I just like to help educate RVers and often times I do it for free. I started my business out of concern that there was a lack of safety and educational information available to RVers.
RV Fire Safety Information:
I picked up one of the new First Alert Tundra Fire Extinguishers today. One of the comments I found on it was "Store between 32-104 Degrees F". In other words, do not leave it in your RV over the winter months. It does not have the A B C ratings marked on the container. It does have three square pictures, Grease, Fabric/Wood and Electric pictures. Claims to last 32 seconds and spray up to 4 feet. Has a "Performance Exp" date of 04/24/10. Says it is "Great For" RVs. Also says "Easy Clean Up, Simply wipe area with damp cloth".
