I make me wonder why the builders dont use LED's and HID's at the factory. Seems like it would be at minimal costs at that point and be very functional?

They haven't used LEDs in the past because of cost. Price on these things has come down very fast in the last two years. In two more years you can expect to see them as standard on about everything on wheels. In five years you'll see a fair number of LED headlights.

Hi all, can anyone tell me if there are LED replacement tail lights for a MH, like the ones I see on the large trucks? I really like them and I think they are much more visible, thus safer. If so where can I find them? Thanks Dave

Do a sear on the internet for LED lIGHTS , bargeman , ECT. THERE ARE Several DIFFERENT PLACES TO GET THEM DEPENDING ON THE TYPE YOU NEED..
even northern tool carries them.
It may take a lot of searching but they are out there , I just did it to mine.

Dave

I replaced all my brake and yellow turn sig tail lights with LED lights. Go to PPL web site and they have them in stock for many motorhomes.

Mine were very easy to change. remove two screws plug a pig tail into licht socket and replace the two lens screws.

Mine were brinkman light fixtures. The LED lights are very bright. That was what I wanted.and water can not run on bulbs and brake them.
