Just this past September we traded in out MH and bought a new 5th wheel. Now the wife and I love the layout and the ease of hitching it up and pulling it as compared to ALL other RV's we have had. But the big perk was the fact that is really just for two people. It's just not designed for a "family". So here's the question.

We are going out to Yellowstone this spring and are thinking about dropping the kids (1 boy & 1 girl) off there for the bears to raise. What are your feelings on this?

Sounds like a plan to me! Wolves might be even better!

If they're teenagers it most certainly would!

You shouldnt have posed that here, if any bears are reading this the word will go out and all the bears will run the other way when they see you come into the park.

Sorry....I WANT my kids with me on our trips. After all, do you think my DW is going to get me another cold diet-coke whenever I need one. I don't think so.

When my kids get too old, that's what grandkids will be for. As far as privacy, that's why we got the rear bedroom with a kingsized bed and a bathroom with two real doors between us & the rest of the travelers that are with us. I love this layout......no problems!

Any given day, I'm Boating, shoveling or RV'ing south! or biking, 4wheeling, GP'ing

Sounds like the perfect plan--just don't go in summer. Too many RVers with th same idea. Bears can be picky.

Sorry, It won't work at all. Kids have a way of ALWAYS finding there way back home! Try as you may, you'll never escape them! (Especially after they turn 20!)

I think that's the greatest cause of FULL-TIMING!
