I know, I'm nutz! But would anyone be interested in a free photography workshop here in the Southwest? I am offering my services - free. MS in photography and a retired photography instructor (as well as commercial photographer). Maybe a get-together for those photo geeks looking for more fun? Any suggestions as to dates and locations? Generally the Spring is best - depending on elevation. Below 4,000' April is primo. Above 5,000' think May-June. Above 6,000' think June-July. Above 7,000' think July-Sept. All suggestions welcomed.

Those are outstanding pictures on your website!

Have you tried promoting workshops that aren't free? Seems like you should at least try to earn back (and be able to deduct) your expenses.

Folks, I have been a member of dpreview.com for quite some time. Steve Bingham frequently posts his photos there. He's really, really good.
This is the deal of a century, although I believe a reasonable fee would be in order.
Please count me in.
(Steve, please read a pm from me.)

PS: a Route 66 trip would sure be cool.

Well, let's see what happens! Making a list of any that might be interested.
So far one has mentioned Monument Valley (AZ-Utah border). This would be best early May when it warms up and before it gets too hot.

Your work is outstanding. I would welcome the chance to workshop with you if the time and place permits. I am a "serious amateur" with 50 years of shutter clicks. If you decide to do it please let me know.

Wow! I would like to know how you get such great contrast and colors. I guess that would be part of the workshop.

You bet, Jim. Great color is possible with any camera. Equipment means squat. It's what you do in your computer.

That would be great to get togrther with fellow RVers who are also into Photography. Most seminars are so expensive us poor retired folk can't afford them.
