We are contemplating a trip to Sequoia NP the last week in March. Suggestions on where to stay (with hook ups), fishing, and sightseeing would be appreciated. I have heard of Kaweah, Three Rivers, and Sequoia RV Parks. Knowledge of those would be appreciated as well. We have a 30' 5th wheel.
What weather can be expected?

Nanuk of the North, I am not! I guess I will alter my plans to late June or July. Thanks for the advise.
We stayed at Kaweah Park Resort in Three Rivers, CA on 4-2-06 and 4-3-06. There were only a couple of campers in the park at that time. The campground was fine for us; right next to where the three rivers come together and just outside the entrance to Sequoia National Park. We were able to drive up to the giant trees but the snow beside the road at the top was several feet deep and the roads to Kings Canyon were closed because of the snow.
With the storms now hitting CA it might even be later in the year. The snow doesn't melt real fast in the shade of the big trees and the cool days and cold nights. Some areas are getting 11 feet out of this series of storms alone.
Check the Sequoia and King's Canyon NP website -- www.nps.gov/seki -- for information on which campgrounds and facilities are open in March. As others have mentioned, March is still very cold and snowy.
And, understand that with a 30' 5th wheel, taking Hwy. 198 (through Three Rivers) up into SNP is not do-able; there's an advised (and the advice is not to be taken lightly!) limit of 24' for this narrow, switch-back road. You'll have to enter the park by Hwy. 180 out of Fresno.
