I searched and searched and can't find it...

There was a video or pictures of an older suburban pulling a 5'er with the hitch mounted to the roof of the suburban.

Anyone know where it is? I've tried youtube and google... can't find it.

Nope... thanks for looking though...

It was an older suburban and an old 5th wheel... the 5th wheel trailer hooked right to the top of the suburban roof. The suburban even turned around while hooked up to back it into a parking spot

I saw a Cadillac near Port Angeles Washington a few years ago hooked up like that. As he was coming towards me on the highway I thought the car was in the garage and didn't get the door open soon enough. The fith wheel hitch was actually fastened to the roof on the car. I guess it worked.

I believe that the 5er brand name is "SHADOW". I saw one back in the late 70s at a dealership in Maryland, near Pax River. It could be hooked up to a sedan and you are right, the car could be turned around to drive the 5er in to a "back-in" space. Looked like a good idea, but the 5er was sort of small.
