The 2008 Wisconsin spring rally will be held at Silver Springs Campground in Rio Wisconsin. The cost will be as follows. $27+ tax per night for the campsite, $20.00 for the raffle ticket, and $1.00 per sandwich for the potluck.
*reminder for dog owners that there is a $10.00 deposit per dog.
Since it worked so great for the fall rally, we will again be supplying the main dish for the potluck at a cost of $1.00 per sandwich. The choices will be Beef or Ham. Please include in your pm to me how many of each sandwich you want.
We will also have the raffle again and each campsite will receive one ticket for $20.00. This is used to cover all the misc costs for our rally. If you have anything you would like to donate, please let me know.
Please come to Site K (Kottfam6wi) after you check in to receive your welcome packet.
Please send me a PM with ALL of the following information. I need some of it for the campground. DO NOT call the campground with your reservation.

Well, it's about dang time, Joe!!!! Folks have been hungering for this thread!
For the first time EVER, I have to say that the Mik Family will NOT be able to attend the spring rally.
Our niece is getting married that weekend, so, as the good aunti and uncle that we are (not to mention Godparents), we must forsake all those at the Spring Rally to fulfill our familial obligations.

What, we're not important enough? Tell them you allready had a commitment.
Joe
Joe, when they started planning the wedding, I said the ONLY weekend we could NOT make it was Mother's Day weekend and what day did they pick? Apparently, it had something to do with church and hall availability . . .
What can I say? We're MAJORLY bummed that we'll miss the rally, but truth be told, since we moved to the middle of nowhere, we see all you folks more often than we see our own families! (Course, sometimes that's a good thing!)
Glad we can start looking forward to the Spring Rally. I was in the are of the accident around 1:30 and it was foggy, but not to bad yet. I came through there last night from Minnesota (checking out colleges with Jess) and I almost stayed in a hotel. It was awful. It was really hard to get your bearings to where you were, because you couldn't read road signs exits nothing. It was like that from Black River Falls to home. Major eye strain and tight shoulders. Thank God for GPS and the man up stairs that we got home. Wendy

My ventured guess is the wedding is Saturday during the day... Silver Spring is a two hour drive from just about anywhere... Excluding DeForest or North Bristol... I can't see a reason why you couldn't be there by suppertime Saturday...
