I'd guess the little Honda at 60 lbs.....

Onan 2.8 at 140 lbs or so (with no way to mount it)....

bank of batteries sufficient to run a 12v a/c at 300 to 400 lbs (or more).

I just found: www.dcbreeze.com

I think it depends on the cycling of sea water thru the system....

ON EDIT:
They say the a/c alone would require quite a lot of battery power to run for 8 hours.

To run the system continuously at full power from batteries for 8 hours would require a battery bank weighing 334 lbs. A battery bank this size will require 2.7 ft3. (0.076 m3) of space.

On 2nd EDIT:

Yep, it depends on the circulation of sea water...

Raw cooling water routing - place the raw water pump near the through-hull and pump the water to the unit. Discharge can be above or below the waterline.

Thanks everyone, for your help. My friends say "leave your dogs at home; put them in a kennel " etc., but I just can't do that. Someday something will work.
