Made 2 quick trips in Oct '06 w/DW/DD after buying our first TT. Absolutley loved it and in Jan '07 planned 10 weekend trips for the year, knowing that we would have a couple of spontanious trips in between. End of Feb, DW came down with the pregnancy bug and cancelled all but 2 trips, one of which was a family wedding. So I took 2 more, one w/Dad for a fishing trip, and one by myself.
Fortunatly, while DW was on bedrest, she started planning the '08 trips. We haven't hardly any time to talk about them though because a 3 yr old and TWINS keeps us pretty busy! I think '08 is going to be a fun year though!

Sounds like a blessed '07 for you. I hope '08 brings you as much joy. I think your tow vehicle and travel trailer are maxed out with the twins, though!

camperfool wrote: Hey all. Just wondering how many camping trips folks make during a given year. We live in Michigan and last year we were out 11 times and very thankfull of that with gas prices and all. We will see how many in 2008 we make.
Hi neighbor. We camped 75 nights last year, and it looks like it will be about the same this year

Wow, we've got some dedicated campers here.
2007 was our worst year for using our camper, only 4 trips with 9 nights. But if you count two Boy Scout campouts, that's five more nights. And then add in the two night backpack with the boys, were up to 7 trips and 16 nights. Of course, our schedule was crimped by having a house fire and spending much time dealing with insurance and rebuilding issues in 2007.
We enjoy camping in many forms, sometimes with conveniences of the camper, or very primitive such as a backpack.
In 2006, we only did 4 trips, but one of them was three weeks with the camper from PA to Wyoming.
