Dakota Meadows in Prior Lake,MN is great and is park of Mystic Lake Casino which I believe is the largest Casino in MN. Very nice cg with reasonable rates and offers discount diesel and rv wash.

Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY has a CG that rivals Ft. Wilderness.....it is excellent....only one problem....there is nothing there but the Casino....local area has nothing.
Camping prices have gone thru the roof.....back in 2004 it was $32/night for summer/high rate....now it's $55

Worth a weekend to go see a concert and play a bit at the casino.
Great food too.

Maybe I should add....concert tickets have skyrocketed!
in 04 we paid $20/ticket to see Keith Urban.
This March it's $125/ticket to see Toby Keith.

We frequent Tunica several times a year and have always stayed at Hollywood Casino RV Park, always perked. We enjoy the fact that it is a very short walk to two casinos, and even a third one if your feeling hearty, allowing us to return to the 5vr for a rest or to take the dogs out. It's also a short walk to the adjacent golf course if you so desire. On a recent return trip from Texas over Christmas we opted to try Sam's Town for an overnight. Found it to be a very nice park with 2 fenced in dog runs, important to us. Walking to the casino is a bit longer but doable. They advertise a shuttle but we didn't try it. Never stayed at Grand but did check it out one day. Very nice park but you either have to depend on their shuttle or drive to the casino. They do have a recreation hall, swimming pool, horseshoe pit, shuffleboard, etc. as part of the park whereas the others don't. You have to use their hotel facilities.

Another stop on that trip was at Diamond Jacks Casino in Boosier City, La. Stayed there overnight on the way down and back. Nice park with friendly staff, but right off the interstate and a train track runs directly behind it. We might consider maybe a two day stay but probably no longer. No real ammenities other than the casino.

Hi Mac!

A couple of other nice places here in Michigan besides Little River Casino in Manistee. MI...

If you're in the upper peninsila of Michigan and want to visit the Sault Ste. Marie area stay at Bay Mills Resort & Casino in Brimley, MI (15 minutes from the Soo)...nice small casino but has a great RV park ($20/night for full, $15/night for W/E)
BAY MILLS

Also in New Buffalo, MI there is the new Four Winds Casino (very nice) and plans this year call for a new RV park on the grounds near the casino...

Not sure about the price but believe in the low 20dollar a night range, but usually I get a comp. I have never seen the resort full and they have at least 200 or more sites. Nice place...JWB

I have been thinking about visiting a couple of Casino's close by my home. My wife and I are not really gamblers will will drop $20-$50 in the slots. How do you go about getting / requesting a comp for the camp ground. Would it even be fesiable with the little gambling we do?

To OP... Didn't mean to hijack thread but felt it was related.

First get yourself a players card from the casino you will be gambling at and make sure you insert it in each and every slot machine that you play...a few hours before you check out go to the CASINO HOST and tell them that you have been here since ? and ask if there is anything they can do about your bill for the RV park...worse they can say is no

An absolutely spectacular RV park is Seven Feathers in Canyonville Oregon on Interstate 5 near Roseburg. Head and shoulders above any we've seen

I agree. We stopped here for an overnight and were amazed at this place. We never made it over to the casino, opting to play in the marvelous pool instead. There is plenty of space between rigs and all the amenities. This park is spotlessly clean and the staff is friendly. The only negative is that it's all the way over on the West Coast!

Cactus Pete's at the Nevada/Idaho border is a nice place to overnight. Full H/U's and a nice restaurant in the casino. 18 hole golf course, but bring your "wind" game.
