Hi -
I'd budget for 250-300 gallons - then you should have no surprises.
Cheers -

Depends on mpg for your vehicle.
If:
6mpg then 333 gallons
7mpg then 286 gallons
8mpg then 250 gallons
9mog then 222 gallons
10mpg then 200 gallons
You will get higher mpg by driving slower, around 60mph
You can check fuel prices at Dieselboss.com for the states you will be travelling in.
You should also get a copy of the Truck Stop Guide available at most truck stops for under $6.
Enjoy the trip and don't spend all your money at one truck stop.

Be sure to fill up around the last exit in Georgia to save a few cents per gallon. If you are coming down I-95 into Florida, there's a nice truck stop on the northwest side of Georgia exit 1. Going south on I-95, take exit 1, turn right and the truck stop is right there. It has RV lanes, however, I prefer the truck pumps because they are covered and there is more room to maneuver. Also, if you are continuing south on I-95, you would do well to avoid I-95 through Jacksonville. We always take 9A east just below the Jax airport. It is the shortest way to St Augustine or Daytona.

Coming from Quebec you will likely be coming down I95 or I75. If you go to www.dieselboss.com you can search all the major truck stops for the best prices. I tend to stick with Flying J. Virginia, Tennesee and Georgia seem to have the lowest prices consistently on your possible routes.
With a 96 Tradition between your weight and the engine/trans combo you will likely find the best economy and speed to be about 63 mph.
