Major deterrence of having a space in this park is that the Bar across the street raises their music level so loud from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am in the morning you will have to wear earplugs and cover and your head with a pillow if you are in the first four rows to get to sleep. (Believe me we are not exaggerating) There is no way it's going to get any better, as we've heard one of the Bar owners is the brother-in-law of the mayor of San Carlos. The police absolutely will do nothing except at about four clock in the morning they will blip their sirens to do a little road traffic when everyone is leaving. A lot of businesses and homeowners have made formal complaints but I'm afraid this will do no good.
The park is almost full, I'm sure if there was one or two units they might be able to get you in. Some small caravans do come in, but park on the street before they leave the next day. It makes it a little hard to go down the Main Street but everybody seems to make it fit.

Maybe San Carlos needs a new mayor! It is a shame that one enterprise can disrupt the lives of so many. It is not only the park, it is the adjacent condo complex, the casitas across the way and people all up and down that stretch who are suffering, and I don't use that word lightly. San Carlos was always such a quiet little town. We hate to see the direction it is going.

There is no way we would stay in the front of the park at this point! Unfortunately, San Carlos has limited options and from the sounds of things, those options are about to become even more limited. We will be heading back there in another month, and if the front rows are our only option, we will look elsewhere. The situation is untenable, and unfortunately, the park owner is powerless to do anything about it. The police are called, and they do NOTHING!
Move on to Hotel Playa De Cortes in Guaymas. Quiet and you are closer to the water! You just walk thu the Hotel to their beach. If you want to visit San Carlos there is a back road that cuts the time in half. It is a nice drive with over half of the distance along the shoreline. Church's book page 121.

Mucho gracias for the info rocmoc. Hotel Playa de Cortes is the rv park of choice. We'll be there around the 10th of March.
