Everyone knows that Ford is the #1 choice of truck people who haul or tow things. Isn't this common knowledge? All three are good trucks but Ford always has looked tougher.

That's a pretty broad-based statement and I'm sure not necessarily accepted by owners of Dodge and GM trucks.
By the way just who is "Everyone"??? You need to quantify your statement with facts not conjecture.

Maybe to gbutala, "everyone" means the "Ford" owners! Strange, as Ford sure isn't selling nearly as many of these new, big, tough than nails, haul a mountain, testosterone impregnated, tryin' to impress you girl friend, metallic fuel suckin' beasts as they used to! How could that be possible?
Could the extra weight to be moved require that extra fuel before even adding ANY payload/cargo???? Geeeeee! I wonder.......

Ford is hard to beat for their interior cab space. Dodge has lacked behind for eons. Dodge is hard to beat for the Cummins diesel. Many if not all states have a 9900 pound GVW cutoff where regulations, registrations and/or insurance requirements change drastically. It's no surprise that manufacturers label their trucks at 9900 GVW.

Rawhyde,
Not from my posts as I have said what needs to be said. Sometimes, the obvious is not very obvious to a person looking at or reading information etc with their eyes slammed shut.
I'd keep your $10.00 as you probably already paid the taxes on it and it will buy a couple gallons of fuel for whatever truck you possess or maybe hay for the horse that's used to move your RV. On second thought. It would buy an awful lot of good popcorn!!!

I got it completely... you try to respond to everything I state by bait and switch.
I'm not arguing the "it's the best truck" argument and you are. That will result in the seven page peeing contest alluded to.
I'm responding in a narrow question of the OP, who I don't think was trying to troll.

harvwong wrote: I think the most important question for TC owners is who has the highest payload capacity. The curb weight of each truck is different and will have an affect on overall payload capacity. The heavier truck may just have the highest GVWR. I knew this was going to start another "my trucks better than your truck" battle.
The most important question is what truck are you happiest with and do you visualize yourself driving, enjoying and being proud of? They ALL do what they're designed to do very well!! I've always been partial to GMC products. I've owned 5 El Caminos, 2 Cameros, 4 Buicks, 1 Cadilac, 5 Blazers and more. My wife is considering a Corvette for her next car but that may change to a more fuel efficient import sports car.
That doesn't mean GMC makes better cars and trucks.... I just like them.
