If on a site with no hookup for black we do mainly use the campground toilets & showers as much as possible. For us it saves on so many blue tank runs. When on a full hookup we use only the RV toilet and use plenty of water with each flush. I then dump the black tank about every 3 to 4 days.
Boy Julie you sure are bored & need to get out more!
When we went from a PU to a TT I remember my DH asking if it was worth the extra $$$ so that I can #$%^ in my own toilet. Yep it was. Prefer using our own toilet for what it is intended for.

The wife and I used ours before we even brought it home from the dealer, or even signed the papers! As part of the PDI, they offered to let us stay overnight at one of their private sites. So we did the PDI and walkthrough during the day, spent the night sleeping in it (and using the facilities) and the next morning they fixed the few things we found overnight, while we went inside and signed the papers and finalized the deal.
We haven't used the facilities at a campground, park, dog show, or highway rest stop since!

One time when we went camping and our friends inviter another couple and their 14 year old daughter. Not only did they not use their toilet or shower in their camper but they (the idiot husband) refused to use the furnace (he thought they would die).
It got cold that weekend, their daughter got up about six AM and knocked on our friends door because she was soo cold.
Stupid stupid stupid.

I can go you one better. I don't even drive mine. I had the salesman park it in the driveway and I sit out there in my lawn chair and just look at it.
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
