Considering a Fuzion 393, and was wondering about glass sliding rear doors. Any worries of breakage?. How might it handle "Light Off-Road conditions." Also, what are some price ranges loaded.
We're from Vegas, and everyone here likes to sell at MSRP.
Been all over the net looking and it seems Midwest is the place to buy. Also Texas is looking good for pricing.
Would appreciate some input. Thanks in advance.

I have the Fuzion 362 and have taken it off road a bunch and have had no issues with the door.

I have heard of the 393 going for about 50K but I cant be sure since I dont have the same model.

I bought in San Diego at McMahons and they are pretty easy to deal with.

Do your research and call them and make an offer.

Easier drive than the Midwest.

I am also considering a Fuzion 393. From what I have read, 25% - 30% discount from MSRP is fairly standard for people that have done their research and negotiate reasonably well. Considering the current economy, the dealers are having a fairly hard time. Less people can qualify for the financing or afford the payments.

I am going to need over 30% discount from MSRP before I will purchase one. It is not a matter of not being able to pay more, I just want a really good deal.

Some of the games that dealers play is inflating the MSRP. What are they saying MSRP is for a 393 in your area?

I didnt deal with MSRP where I was at because it is such a joke. I saw an Attitude at a dealer and he told me it was a screaming deal for 68K while I saw it on the internet at another local dealer for 43K.

I would do what you are doing and see what people actually paid. I always look at the low price and add a few thousand to it as people usually fib a bit on the killer deal they got.

I think anywhere around 50K for a 393 and you are in good territory.

In August '07 I picked up my '08 362 for $48K. I searched the posted prices on the Internet and took those ads to may local dealer in Nashville and told him I wanted a 362 loaded and I have $48K to spend. There was no negotiating. I had my top dollar on the table and it was up to them to take it or not. We made it clear we had no problem driving to north Indiana to get the same RV for the same, if not better price. They finally took my deal and ordered my 362. They didn't loose money on the deal, they just didn't make their target profit.

The 393 lists a couple $K higher than a 362, so the $50K range is probably close. Do your research, set your top dollar and lay it out to your dealer of choice. Don't hesitate to walk out of the dealership without a deal. Let them know they can call you if they reconsider. If they want to move their inventory, they'll call you back. Hard nosed sales tactics deserve hard nosed buyer strategy.

I've had no problem with the sliding door. We have 4 trips and about 2500 miles on the unit and have had no problems. I am considering adding JT Strongarm stabilizers to take out some of the wiggles while set up in the CG's. So far, I'm very happy with the Fuzion.

Well, I just ordered a 362; not here yet, but I have four months experience dealing with dealers. One dealer gave me a piece of paper that said the list price on the 362 was a little over $80k; he was going to make me deal at $52k. At the other end of the spectrum, call Lakeshore, RV Wholesalers, Couch. I have read there are a couple of other dealers near the manufacture that are willing to make a few bucks and send you one. I had no trouble finding dealers locally that wanted my warranty work. Warranty only last a year at the dealer; after that you go just about anywhere. This industry is full of "not so honest" dealers; buyer beware. The manufacturers seem to have matured. I got great information and assurance from Keystone. I liked the people at I talked with at Forest River. I met and talked with a few dealers I liked, but Steve at Lakeshore gave me the best deal, and the factory assured me Lakeshore was legitimate. Good luck. PS NADA January edition list the dealer cost for new models. Cost about $100; same book the dealers use.

I sent you a private message. I do want to publish my purchase price out of respect for the dealer.
