I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with the ISC330 with 50,000 miles. I just had it in the shop for oil and all filters service and had my tech check a very slight exhaust leak. He called me and informed me that the exhaust manifold was warped. He then told me this is very common on Cummings engines in DP RV's.I have used this tech for 15 years and he has always taken very good care of me so I have no reason to doubt him. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and what was your outcome. Thanks, Mike

Haven't had that problem on my ISC, but I did on a previous 5.9 ISB. As I recall, that part is covered under the engine warranty. The ISB was 4 years old and Cummins stepped up to the plate and took responsibility. Might want to find a Cummins service center and take it in. Good luck.

I have an 2000 American Eagle with a 350 Cummins. I had a small exhaust leak between the head and the exhaust manifold that I had repaired last week by the local Cummins dealership. Be sure to join the "Cummins Power Club" before taking in to be serviced you will get a 10% discount on all parts and service.

Thank you to the people who gave me the information on my engine. Also to the few who helped me out on my spelling by replying on the list and privately. I did not realize there were so many perfect people on this forum. What a great place for all kinds of help.

The good news is that you've got a good service tech. The bad news is that he's 100% correct.

Check out our web page on the very much unfun job of replacing the exhaust manifold that DW & I did ourselves in our driveway.

These things are not so bad to work on once you get past the "Intimidation Stage." You guys did a great job attempting the manifold repairs. And of course, there is always going to be residual parts to replace. Take care.

Steve, That is very impressive. It is an intimidating job at the outset and very physically and mentally demanding once you start. Having a side radiator and access from above the engine made the job at least possible at home. Looks like you got some side benefits by being able to fix the waste gate and check and fix the injectors. I wondered what the stuck waste gate was doing to your performance? It appears to be a bypass the turbo and you had a lack of control of the turbo. Hey, you got your engine all cleaned up also. They get so dirty and dingy that I shudder to think how all of the electronics especially keep working. A question I have is how you annotated you pictures with arrows. I am looking for that software.

We have a 2000 Monaco Dynasty with a 330 ISC and the exhaust manifold cracked. Had it replaced in 2005. Thanks "rossunger" for the Cummins Power Club tip.
