Best cure for mice is to keep the heat on about 75 df and have a rat snake loose in the RV. If the mice leave and the weather is warm, the snake will leave as well.

The mice don't like the smell so they just don't go there. If you already have mice they'll leave. Humans find the smell to be kind of piney-woodsy- not unpleasant at all. Google it.
Well..... I just ordered some...sounds promising...guess I'll just have to wait and see
Works great!!! Used it the last 2 years and no problems. Best of all it is a North Dakota product!

Hadn't seen any evidence of mice in our recently purchased 99 Newmar until I had the unfortunate need to take down the aluminum underside to get at a Gray Water tank leak. Found two dead for what appears to have been a long time. Lots of what appeared to be used sunflower seeds as well. Replacing all the insulation and gooping anything that looks like an entry point when I put it back together.

Won't be able to crawl underneath until I get it on pavement or hard packed dirt. Don't care to be crawling on the ground where there are ant hills and fire ants. From the small amount of chewed material by the hole, I would say the mouse entered in the RV park storage section during the 2 weeks it has been stored. Glad I found it now while the 5ver is still empty. Looks like I do not start moving my stuff into the 5ver until they are gone or dead or near the end of April when my apartment lease is up.

Just remember any place a mouse can get in , a rattlesnake can get through the same opening. It might need a little help getting off the ground. But they are quit inventive

IMHO, The only good mouse is dead mouse.
X2.........never heard of "relocating" a mouse
You relocate them from the life to death.
Actually they are "Katrina Mice". Displaced in New Orleans.
They heard about the "FEMA Trailers". The "word" got out fast,
and spread across the country.
Check with "Mousefart" on the forums, surely he can verify that.

The darn lil critters don't know a thing about the Feds paperwork (except to use for nests) can't read either . . .so they don't know the difference between a FEMA trailer - and your Newmar, Jayco, or Montana!
Maybe they'll get the word on the formaldehyde and move on.

OK strait scoop! The "cat thing" is a good idea. The LAPD (So. CA) was having a major rodent problem at their PD stations, went to "Rent-A-Cat(or some such thing). The (former feral) cats are conditioned to stay around the station (outside). Fed there, etc.
Bottom line - the cats don't actually catch the mice - it's the
urine and cat odor. The cops are thrilled with their new rodent
SWAT team. (This was in the L.A. Times a few months ago).

Don't think they are Katrina Mice. As far as I know, the previous owner only went north to Georgia. Cat? NO WAY! If it weren't for my neighbor feeding every stray cat in the complex, I would not have to worry about fleas on my dog. They're almost as plentiful as Asian Lady Bugs and when walking out the front door, you have to step over them.

Is it really a mouse problem? Or a wife problem????

Yep - cats are real flea "magnets".
~
The LAPD thing is a cat lover outfit that traps feral cats, neuters
'em, then puts 'em to work, so to speak.
~
I wasn't suggesting a "real" cat.
Maybe try some kind of "cat scent" stuff - if there is such a thing.
