Actually I was kind of looking at July 18-19-20. I have yet to check the sites but My weekends are all pretty full after that.
Anyone else have any input on the matter?

July 18-20 will work for us, Aug.is not good

Not sure about July 18 - 19 - 20, we are going to the FMCA rally in ST. Paul and it end the 17, will leave there the 18th. Doing rallies July 1-5 at the Amana's (Safari rally) then headed up to Minn. for another Safari rally then the FMCA rally. Going to be a busy 3 weeks of rallies for us. Keep us posted on what you decide. Even if we don't make it back for the whole campout, maybe we can just pop in for awhile.

I would probably be able to make it then too. I would rather stay a week to make the drive worth while but might be able to get a 4 day weekend to work.

Since this is no longer a sticky I'll get it back toward the top.
I'm sure several Iowa residents are still busy recovering from the floods. Camping is probably the last thing on their minds. I hope that there is still some interest in a get together sometime yet this year.
We will be going to Tennessee the 10th of August for a wedding and won't be back until the 18th. so August will not be a good time. I'm up for a fall rally as that is my favorite time to camp. Still looking forward to meeting some new friends.

We're going to Brushy Creek (near Ft Dodge) this weekend. All reservable are taken so we're hopeing to find a first/come tomorrow. News is they are catching lots of fish (especially crappies) in the lake there. For our Iowa get together - we would probably prefer fall. We had reservations over Labor Day weekend for Saylorville but it sounds like Bob Shetler CG may be closed because of flooding and road damage. Will keep watching to see what everyone else prefers and if we will still have an Iowa rally.

I was in Iowa City today but didn't get a chance to check out Sugar Bottom. According to my son the lower area is pretty tore up. I don't know for sure how high the water got. I can't believe it got to the restroom closest to the water. He said the full hook up area was ok. I would love to get down there this year but can't justify the trip for a 2 day weekend. We have to go to Tennessee in August so that will use as much of the wife's vacation as she feels she can take. Short handed in her office.

Sorry, once again - our computer is down!
We stopped out at the campground this weekend. They do have July 18-20 available. The beach is still closed but the boat ramp is now open. We would like to get a count of people who can attend July 18-20 so we can get spots reserved. We hope this one goes better than the last!
