So what direction is everyone heading in after the Moab mini social rally?
We are headed for Las Vegas .....the Barret Jackson car auction is going to be there the 16-17 and 18th of Oct. Have always wanted to watch the action and see all the cars. I think this might be the first time they are in Las Vegas for the auction. So we will slowly head toward Vegas after the rally. Just made reservations at Sams Town RV park in Vegas.

We're coming down thru Yellowstone/Teton, then Rocky Mtn NP and down the Colorado river to the rally, then back up to Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake and on to the coast of Oregon. We've only got 16 days total on this trip, so we'll be "scouting" some areas for future travels.

We are headed to Las Vegas, too................to home!!! Wish we were going to be here for that auction, sounds interesting, but we're off to Dallas that weekend. We like Sam's Town too, but only the part near the parking garage, where the pool and the laundry are, and not the other part, across the side street.

Didnt know Sams Town had 2 differnt RV parks....we stayed last year at the one by the Casino/ with the laundry and pool. Sure hope we get into the same one this year, or I guess I'll just have to complain.

If we can stay out long enough, we'll come home via Socorro New Mexico. I have a niece that lives on a horse ranch there. It would be nice to park at her place for a few days and ride.

Her husband is working on the Magdalena Mountain Telescope project, so Chino can go and geek out with him.

Julie,

Have you purchased the name tags yet? If not I would be happy to bring them. Didn't offer to bring anything before because I was not sure we were going. Also, do you need anymore dog treats.

I have not purchased name tags but I have some large mailing labels that I was going to decorate a bit and use as name tags. They are big enough to write names on with a black marker, and they're cheap (and already in my supply closet).

I think we're good on dog treats too, but you're always welcome to bring more, I don't think the dogs would think we could have too many treats. I have a few dog goodies here (leftover Ebay stuff) that I'm going to bring as prizes. Maybe others will also have stuff that they want to bring. We just need to make sure we know what's in the food treats that we bring because I know some folks have dogs will allergies.

I might need a bigger RV!! I was going to call the campground and see if they have a folding table that we could use, otherwise I'm going to try to wrap up my card table and see if I can bungee it to the stowaway box on the back of the van.

Can anyone think of anything that I'm forgetting??

I have our name tags from the B5 rally and I'm sure others do to.
Julie we can always gather up picnic tables and put them on 1 or 2 sites as needed, I woldnt worry to much about bringing a card table along. Remember
us B folks are used to doing without lots of frills and just having the basics.

Julie, Sharon must have forgot to tell you that we were passed the big box of lanyards and plastic name tag holders from the BEE get together at Nebraska to take to Moab. They are still in the van so we don't forget them. We'll count them in the next few days to see how many we've got.
At Nebraska the early arrivals just put picnic tables together in a central location for the daily "gathering point/pot luck". Worked wonderful because everyone just brought their own chairs to that point in the evening for the daily gabfest.
Someone might try to come up with a source for firewood for the nightly fire though. I hope we can have them there...
