Maybe this can be a regular BEE get together so eventually everyone will make it. Annually or biannually???? Who knows!

I'm sorry to hear about the death in your family, and sorry that you can't come to Moab, Mrs B! But I understand why. Family always comes first! Hopefully we can do it again next year and you can join us then.

I need to get some kind of a count as to how many will be having pizza on our Friday arrival night. I plan on calling around next week to get an idea of what pizza restaurants are available, and willing to deliver the quantity of pies that we need. I imagine most places will want us to order ahead by at least a few days in handle a large order.
I was going to order a variety of basic toppings such as pepperoni, some with sausage, some with just cheese and some with veggies. Does anyone want garlic bread as well? I'm thinking I'll just pay for it all up front, and everyone can pay me back later. It'll make it much easier on the restaurant if we place one big order a few days in advance.
So, if you would all be so kind to send me a quick email or PM with a count of how many are in your group and how many will be having pizza, I can make some calls next week and make arrangements for our group.
Thank You! my e mail address is julie yap at chino dot com

I was thinking that it may be a good idea to have a simple B Out West list to check before we leave for Utah with our great B Out West T-shirts. I just looked at this thread and it is now 26 pages in length. I bet few of us have the time to reread all those postings for the following needed information, do you?
I am talking about - What are we expected to supply or bring to the "B Out West Social?"
Most of us know about bring a Snatcho Bingo gift, but what were the guidelines suggested for the gift. $5, $10, wrapped, unwrapped etc. A review of this information could be helpful to a number of those coming.
Then there is the pot luck. Last time that I can recall the pot luck being discussed was months ago. Any guidelines for our selection or number of servings? This information could be helpful.
I may well have missed sometime that we should be bring, and that is my point. Such as if you are bring a pet etc. It has been over eight months since I asked on this forum the following question: Why have we had five B rallies and not one West of the Mississippi. The answer was simple, No one has offered to host one. It was only a matter of days and Julie Yap stepped up. Great job Julie

'loving retirement'- was thinking the same thing during 'should have been sleeping' time last night. Plan to re-read because my memory chip doesn't function as well as it used to. Do know that the Snatcho Bingo gift is $5.00- wrapped. See you there.

Thanks Lovingretirement, I can have Dave add a checklist to the forum website. For now, bring your snatcho bingo gift for Friday pizza night. You'll also need pet costumes if you have a pet that will participate in our pet costume and trick contest (Saturday night). For the potluck you will need to bring your own meat to cook, and a dish to share with approximately a dozen people. Hopefully we'll have several folks with a selection of grills to make sure everyone can cook their own entree/meat.
It might also be a good idea to make sure y ou have a warm coat, hat and mittens for the evenings and a really warm blanket for bedtime. Days in Moab are sunny and warm that time of year, but the evenings are normally quite cool.
The most important thing for all of us to bring is a sense of humor! It won't be possible for everyone to be happy with the events and planning 100% of the time. We need to just be able to laugh it off, relax and have a good time anyway.

Just did a sample run of what I might make for the potluck. It was easy so hope it tastes good.
Julie thanks for the reminder about bring gloves or mittens, might need those when sitting around gabbing at night.
