Hi all. Now at Bryce Canyon at Rubys RV park. Supposed to snow here tomorrow so we'll be heading south. Spent Mon. and Tues in Moab at a BLM campground and just site seeing and touring the area. Wed spent the day site seeing in Capital Reef Ntl. Park. Every night so far the campgrounds we've been in have filled up. Lots of people still out and about.
The OutWest rally was a success and hope there are more in the future.

We left Monday for Monument Valley and arrived a couple of hours after the Lodges from our Rally. The Gouldings Campground at Monument Valley was nice but pricey at $37 compared to Grand Canyon at $8. Gotta love those half off camping fees with the senior pass in national parks. Next we headed for the Grand Canyon south rim and camped in the park and walked the paved portion of the rim walk from end to end. We also got up in the morning to observe sunrise. Last night we stayed in Red Rock Park outside Gallup, NM and tonight we are in Taos.
I got my first pork tenderloin sandwich of the trip in all places in the middle of nowhere in Winslow, AZ on I-40 at a Flying J. In the short time to fuel up and eat lunch we encountered 4 other B vans at that Flying J. We probably won't get home until Sunday.

We went to Gouldings and Taos on the way out to Moab. We'll be stopping at a Flying J in Salina, KS. on the way home tomorrow. Have to see if they have a Pork Tenderloin sandwich at that one!

We are now at the Salinas, KS KOA. From here I can head into Missouri and up through Iowa or I can elect to head directly home. Unfortunately the Missouri Pork Board has not announced its best pork tenderloin sandwich yet as they promised in October. Rats!

Hi folks. Billee and I just arrived home this evening, travelled through Bryce and Zion and back up through the Nevada. Woke up this morning with blowing snow in Reno but trip over the mountains was uneventful. Tomorrow with help of neighbors will pull pump out of the river, winterize the irrigation system and replant the hayfield, and then get back to golf! We sure enjoyed meeting you all and thanks to Julie and everone for the first "Out West B"!

We got home this evening from our out west trip including the B Out West rally. After being awed by the Aspens in Utah, we had some pretty good color on US-58 in southwest Virginia near our cabin this afternoon even with an overcast sky.

We made it home this evening after a long, 600 mile, WINDY day on I70 through Kansas.
Couldn't believe that gas here is over $1.00 per gallon cheaper than in and around Moab and western Colorado.
Enjoyed every minute of the social, seeing old friends again, and meeting new ones that we hope to see again in LA. next spring.

We are still on the west coast, in a little town just a few miles inland from Santa Cruz. We spent yesterday on the beach, then spent the afternoon with one of Chino's clients that is in the area. They fed us lunch then took us on a tour of their 140 acre estate in the redwoods.
Today we're driving down thru Monterrey and Carmel, then probably (maybe) heading home from there. We at least have to get home in time to mail in the house payments.....

We got home this evening around 6 pm CDT. David and Nancy, we were at the Salina KOA one day before you--left the morning of the 10th for Gardner, KS to watch two of my great-nephews play football last night. Nick is an all-state defensive end, so this old aunt was bustin' her buttons and hollering like crazy. Not one of you is surprised! Can't wait to go to LA LA in the spring.

My boondocking days are over for this trip. I stayed in a campground in Red Canyon in Utah one night, and was awakened at 5 am by the low battery warning beep. (Actually, the CO detector.) I hadn't used hardly any power that night, just the light for a short time, so the battery must be bad again. It was 29 degrees outside and the furnace wouldn't go on, even on propane, so I had to start the engine for heat. I was on the road by 5:30 am that day!
Since then, I've spent two nights in Las Vegas at Sam's Town, and one night in Laughlin. Now I'm practically spitting distance from my new house and will be going there tomorrow to see the progress. Only 3-1/2 weeks more to live in the MUTT!
Safe travels to those of you still on the road, and I hope to see most of you next April in LA!
