Rather then have everyone just say what they have , you need to be more specific. Price range, type of truck, must have options.

Thank you for the excellent advice, several units I have not heard of, very limited selection here in Minot, will start looking at the recommended units on the Internet, then try to find a dealer.

I think our short list came down to Keystone Montana, Paridise Point, Nu Wa Hitchhiker II, Forest River Cardinal and Jayco Designer. Really liked the Designer but way to heavy for my tow vehicle. Bought a Montana, out standing coach so far and I would buy another. Spent a good year visiting RV shows, dealers to get phamplets. Narrowed the list down to 5 and then visited the dealers, asked questions, talked to people while traveling what they liked in their 5er etc. Went on line to many dealers and got price quotes to the 5er I wanted. When I went to my area dealer I pretty much new the prices and worked a deal. DW got really tired of the whole thing but I got what I wanted at the price I wanted. Way too much work for most people I guess. Good luck in finding your 5er.

I second the motion. Mine is 13 years old and looks as good as the day it left Middlebury. Built like a brick outhouse!

I second that. Reading your post sounds like an ad for my Cameo.

Our shortlist was Montana, Everest, and Bighorn. We bought the Bighorn 3400rl and are very happy with it. If you can travel, be sure to look at internet pricing. That's how we ended up with the Bighorn, couldn't beat the price.
