Hi, I was looking on the internet at some Outbacks by Keystone, and from the pictures they look like a nice trailer. So, I was looking for thoughts/opinions on their quality or any other comments on them.

Thanks,

Dan

visit www.outbackers.com and ask the folks who own them - they seem like a loyal and honest bunch who don't sugar coat any known issues and are passionate about the product....

we had one as our First TT, we only kept it 4 months, but not due to quality issues or anything, just we realized we needed a bigger trailer with a different floor plan. We liked our outback. The only "problem" if you will is that it was a aluminum framed rig with fiberglass walls. In the front of the trailer the fiberglass was warping, I dont know if it was due to wind from travel or another reason. It did not leak, just looked a little like a friday evening fit and finish job from the factory.

We have an '06 Sydney 27 RLS Outback and love it. Other than a problem getting the oven pilot to stay lit and the micowave going out (both related to the appliance manufacturers, not Outback), we've had absolutely no problems.

We are considering selling it, but only because we're interested in something larger for full-timing.

As suggested, go to Outbackers.com and do some research. The members are very supportive and you'll find tons of info - both positive (the majority) and negative.

We liked the Outbacks. They were built well and were sturdy. The biggest deal breaker was the white cabinets. If they weren't white, we'd probably have one!

We have one and it has been nothing but trouble. We purchased it new and during the first year it was at the dealer for repairs almost 6 months, everything from slide leaks and flooring replaments to the whole front wall replaced due to delamination. Would I recomend OR buy another one? NO!

My folks bought a Sydney Edition 31RLS (I think that's the model number -- it's either 30, or 31).

They absolutely love it. Fit and finish is very nice, and they like the white cabinets/doors etc. I kinda have to agree.... I have this thing -- if it's not REAL wood, why try to make it LOOK like real wood? I guess it's just a personal preference thing.

They've not had any issues with their TT -- except winterizing it. It's kind of a pain -- but not for long. I bought the stuff to make it easier for them to winterize, and when I'm done they won't have to pull the panel off under the TV every fall to winterize. That's the only complaint that I would have. But for $10, it's gonna be fixed.

Our first TT was a 2006 Outback 26RS. We enjoyed it and did not have any problems. Only real issue, the queen bed was a rear slide and you had to climb over each other if one wanted to get out..........could be fun at times but it was a pain..........we pick up a new Jayco 31V on Friday.......just like the walk around queen and over all layout better.

We use our 03 Outback 80-100 nights a year. The only repairs we have had to make have been tightening screws in cupboards and the door. We thought the door was broken as we could not open it without difficulty. My husband looked and found a loose screw. A fuse hidden inside the radio had to be replaced.
