Take one part Memorial Day weekend, add a dash of Moon Rocks, a heaping helping of ToyHaulers, Quads, Dirtbikes, UTV’s, season well with Kids races and Mothers races, throw in a potluck dinner and you have the recipe for CALNEVORE!
We will be staking our claim on Thursday, May 22, 2008 thru Monday, May 26 in the same spot as last year so let us know if you are interested and we will be certain to grab enough real estate.

Bring plenty of wood!

See you there!

Do you have coordinates or directions to your spot? We have been seriously considering going to Moon Rocks for Memorial day, but have never been there before and would love to meet up with folks that have.

Here you go: Lat:39° 50' 44" N Long:119° 44' 37" W

It would be great to have someone from Oregon make the trip. So far, we have only been CalNev---

I think we are in again. Talked to the wife and she was excited to go. We had a good time last time.

We usually do forest camping on M-day, but the groundhog said 6 more wks of winter. That makes for snowy nights and cold/wet chitlins.

Maybe a jaunt over to Mrocks is the thing to do.

We are trying to get there for Pres Wknd, but local says it is not melting quickly.

Great! Bring that monster DS650 again and have DW bring some Indian Casino coupons!

This time we plan to have a border run if we have enough UTV to haul fuel. I think it's like an 80-100 mile round trip to get to the farthest outside boundry of MR.

Yep I've got 2 DS650s if someone else want to ride one. We forgot you guys were going up there, we'll get some vouchers for you. We can haul some gas cans on my wifes Outlander too.

BTW we are going up to Coos Bay for the 4th of July if anyone's interested.
