Every water connection including the tank rinse systems, are quick connect including at the faucet. (although I do have to screw an adapter on the faucet) Our don't noticeably reduce the "volume" of water at all.

We do use good quality brass ones and we've had them for years.

I use them as well, and found that a "y" at the hose bib where you can release the pressure before disconnecting will keep you from getting wet..

Have used the brass ones for years. A couple of them started leaking a while back, soaked them in vinegar and they were good as new. Richard

Got mine from Wal-Mart. No problems yet. Makes hooking the hose into the bay much easier.

That's true until you start using water in the RV, then there is a pressure drop across the restriction and the pressure in the RV will be less.
