As I have mentioned in response to other forums, you will experience slowing on inclines pulling a 10,000' load. We have the SN6400 pulling a 28' enclosed trailer, we are probably somewhere near 8,000' and we do experience a reduction in speed on hills, how much depends on the hill. Unless you are planning on putting down $200,000+ for a Showhauler, Pony Express, Renegade or something similar you are left with only a few choices, we felt the Supernova was the best choice for us. Check out my other posts.

Our new 6372 Supernova is coming soon. Our Endura was at Gulfstream when their tornado came thru. No more Endura. Our grandsons race go-karts and we pull a 20' trailer. The darn thing is fiberglass and weighs a ton. I know with the Endura some of those hills on your way down south were a struggle. I am sure the Supernova will be an improvement. We have looked at the Renegade and Hallmark, but the price on those units is a little out of our range. I think a lot of it is whatever you are comfortable with. I guess the good thing is that we only have the Endura to compare it to and it has to be better than that was towing.

Weight and towing capability is what I am struggling with right now, I have too many toys and the list of Super C coaches in my price range is very limited unless I am willing to spend 200K +. I just got my Jeep weighed today to determine how heavy I am going to be and was pleasantly surprise that it came in so low after everything I have done to it. All my toys comes out to 5095 lbs. With my 23 foot trailer running 3480 lbs I am at 8575 lbs. Depending on what coach I decide on I might need to carry extra water and that that would bring my weight up to 5718 lbs. and total weight to 9198 lbs.
I just don’t think the top two contenders Seneca and Supernova can handle that kind of weight adequately. I was hoping to get something new soon, but I think I have to wait until something else comes along that can tow this kind of weight. That is why I am hoping the new Jayco Embark has a comparable floor plan and will be able to handle more weight.

I know the $200K always seems to be used on this forum as the price of the Super Duper C's and it is pretty close if your talking about a twin screw Columbia or Volvo chassis unit. But a 28' to 30' box on an M-2 chassis is not near that much. They are in the $150K - $175K range. Try looking around here Link to give you the names of some dealers and MSRP pricing. A word of caution about Racing Junk is that the listed prices are crazy high. Used stuff is listed at prices exceeding new prices in hopes of finding a sucker I guess. Most stuff sells for much less than asking.

I have been looking at many Class A & C coaches and they are generally around or over the 200K for what I want. I prefer not to get used, but I would consider it if it had a warranty. I would also like a 34-37 foot coach, the larger you go the more they cost and I am trying to keep my new coach under 150K to make the wife happy.

If you want to only go 34'-37' that will only be a 24' to 28' box even on an M-2. If memory serves me you have to add 8 1/2' to the box size for OAL with the M-2. That small a box will not allow for the bunk beds you wanted. If you only want a 24' or 26' box there are plenty out there for under $150K like the one I linked you in your other post. That was a new 2008.

Well that explains a few things, I had no idea you had to add 8 1/2' to the M-2. I am learning something new every day in my search. I defiantly want the bunk beds so I guess I need to look for a larger coach. Do you know if any of these larger units have the bunk beds option I am looking for? The link you provided comes up with a search page with 307 coaches listed. I would love to find a coach in my price range that will tow the amount of weight I have with ease.

Here are some links:
07 24ft Renegade
03 Renegade 28ft
02 Renegade 30ft
06 Renegade 26ft
03 Renegade 30ft
I use to own a Renegade about 6 years ago. It was great. The problem I had was trying to sell it. You market is limited. Mine had a 300hp CAT and to be frankly, it was a little under powered for its size. These things are HEAVY!
I have been in the market for one less then $150k for about 6 months. But I am just unwilling to buy one that is more then 4 years old. I am not worried about the chassis, its all the other things, micro, air, etc. The unit takes a beating. It is a truck and rides like a truck.
So the 07 and 06 24ft and 26ft is what I am limited to, but I really don't like the floor plans and they are small. And anything newer and larger is way past $150k. You can easy get into $200k plus range fast.
Also, be careful of some truck conversions. They may say 2008 or 2007, but they were built on used over the road trucks with 100s of thousands of miles.
I hope this helps.

I think you are going to be out of luck for putting all those things together. I just looked at Renegade and Haulmark standard floorplans and neither had a bunk option. United,Showhauler and Optima all do custom layouts but then your over budget. All the M-2 chassis units I have seen are 24'-28' boxes. A 28' box will give you the same basic floor plan as a Seneca 34SS. Any smaller box and you do not even have room for a chair. It seems the builders have now gone to a twin screw Columbia or Volvo on any box over 30'. Because of the rear overhang length and the tongue weight the racers put on. Way over kill for a 10,000lb. trailer.
I would bet Jayco is going to have the 36FS floor plan available on the new Embark and that should keep you close or under $150K. You probably will not even know a 10,00lb. trailer is back there. It will probably be close to 39'.
It looks like only 2 models fit all your needs. Either the SuperNova or the Embark. Good Luck

As for the bunk beds. Really not seen that on any. Larger ones just have more couches. However, with the overhead bunk and extra couches, you can sleep alot. But anything that large and newer will cost over $150 easy.
What I hate on most of these is the walk through bathroom. If someone is in the bathroom / shower, you can't get in or out of the beedroom.
