"The Four Corners National Monument is the only place in the United States where you can be in four different states at the same time. Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah."

Don't forget to sign the visitor's log.

How about the highest and lowest point of each state. Some are easier to find than others.

I would like to visit that point in the 48 contiguous states that is the:

1. farthest from any paved road
2. farthest from any road, including dirt and gravel roads.

But I don't know where these places are, yet.

I'm pretty sure they are west of the Mississippi.

Hey you guys are great!!! When I began this thread I wanted a few ideas that interested me...I recieved many, lol!

We plan on making:
1. ALL the National Parks (we have already managed 8 of them, lol)
2. Alaska (several months on this one)
3. New England in the Fall
4. Niagra Falls
5. The the rails through the Canadian Rockies

Wow, we may need to go ahead and start a few years earlier than planned!!!

Thanks again for submitting your favorite's!

Just another day in Paradise!

Wow, I feel very fortunate since we've been to many of those places on the lists already. Not always in an RV, though. So want to return to many of them. "To AnyWhere USA or CA" for us.

I like to see the changing of the seasons. The SouthEast with Dogwoods & Bradford Pear trees along with the Azaleas. Fall anywhere on the East Coast from N. Georgia to Maine with a nice view of the mountains.
