*sigh*...I havent been ignoring my own thread on purpose, im just worried, thats all. I read whats been posted everyday, im just not sure what to do. Recent crack down by BLM has me stressed that we will get popped, holding an event. I wouldnt even know how to handle that. I suppose if it were a gathering of friends and nothing else it could work, it has been suggested that we group off in smaller circles near each other, sounds reasonable. I allways just wanna have fun camping and riding with you all foremost. We have 16 days till Easter, help me work my concerns out, thanks Golfman for taking the reins, but this needs to be addressed now.....
Maybe im over thinking it, not sure.

This place where some friends and friends of other friends that might happen to meet each other in the vast desert around the same area unknowingly, would that be in that spot where some people that we dont know had a Rally a few months ago. Wherever that spot was.

Well I wasnt at the rally and I am really looking forward to going to Spanglers, so if I run into a bunch of people that are interested in the same thing as me then how can that be a put together event?

I don't think there is a problem. The Rangers were enforcing limited use trails and rider violations. If they went after a group of private citizens for having a group camp, they would have to go after campgrounds and any other area people gather on the weekends. I'm going to Spangler at the site of the old rally for Easter weekend. I will be camping,riding,cooking and slugging cool ones. Any and everyone who wants to join me I'll be there.

Well I don't know nuthin about no Rally a few months ago, But if mine and GlmRacers Haulers happen to be set up on the "Tuesday" prior to Easter, and sit there until Easter Sunday, in the place that this alleged Rally took place, well.....I can't control who else would show up now could I? I might even have a beer with said person.

I was not aware this was a organized Rally, I thought it was even posted somewhere that it was not, it might be a annual ride but not a organized rally.
I meet my friends in the dez. on certain weekends for years. we get a pretty good size group.
I think you are worry about nothing Strabo, lets just meet and have a good time.
If the Rangers show up, then we will all learn what the deal is. - don't sweet it. see you guy's up there. No Worries

And whos to say that i cant park near my friends??? I think as long as we arent 100 rigs in one giant circle we should be cool. The several smaller circles in the same general area thing is a good idea. We can allways meet at a big campfire right? And go on rides together right?

1. NO Fees to attend

3. No designated times for any rides, activities etc

I'll be there Saturday the 15th. Now that Strabo's back I can concentrate on my weekday rides and desert golf course! (Thanks Jim Soo anyone up for finding a rout to Dumont Dunes from Spangler? I have traced out a trail on the map and I intend to run at least half the rout in order to check out the terrain. It's less than 50 miles? Any takers? Maybe say mid week?
