well it wont do anything in mud or heavy snow and road debris would suck
its just another way to make something us safe look safe and keep everyone happy o and on the other hand a wheel that small doing 65? thats a lot of tire wear that i bet you need to buy directly from them
wait another thing which states is it actually legal in because if your tc and tv weight 12500 wet and loaded and your tv weighs 6600 (considered diesel) and the gvwr is idk about 11600 adding 97 pounds will just make you more over weight
or is my math wrong but i though when you add weight the total weight goes up

For about the cost of this thing you could just about upgrade to a DRW truck over the SWR truck and not have to worry about those little tires and trying to find one or two in the middle of no where.
I hope folks listened to the guy who made it. He made for the farmer who will be driving for very short distances and on country roads at SLOW speeds moving farm equipment. Not to be used for long distances on overloaded RV's.
I think this is another BAND-AID and as such would appeal to those who are desperately trying to re-engineer there overloaded truck issues. It would be far cheaper and far better to match the proper TC to the proper truck. What that means is drop down to the next SMALLER size TC and you will save both money and grief. In life BALANCE is EVERYTHING.
Sadly most here say they know more or are smarter than their truck manufacturers and thus here we are looking at another BAND-AID for those who are too smart to get the right truck for the proper job.
Some will never graduate from the school of hard knocks. To each his own I guess. Sure is fun to watch though in a sick kind of way. Like viewing and accident you can't take your eyes off of it even when you know it will be ugly.
Don't take this post personal just look at it as one from someone who learned on his dime that large TC's work best on DRW trucks and I now want to save others the money I spent to learn this bit of info.
SWR trucks if that is your preference are fine just work WITH your truck and stick to the smaller TC's designed for these lighter trucks and as they say down in Auz "and Bobs your uncle".
Again in life BALANCE is EVERYTHING.

Looks like all our overweight problems are solved, no Ricksons, no supersprings, no airbags, no Ranchos, no Sway bars....???????
What do you think of this device...??
Personally? I can't see it working well on badly rutted roads. It might be good for someone that never leaves pavement, but that's not me, so I'll pass, thanks.

I've used the hitchhelper with trailers both GN and bumper. I haven't /w a slide in camper but the principle is the same. IT WORKS. !!!! Remember not all the weight is on it. It is a helper. I haven't drove over a 4x4 board on the road but have hit some road kill, no problem.

When your truck is squatting at the back it is lite on the front which is unsafe. The hitch helper keeps the back of the truck level where it was designed to be and transfers some wt. onto the front end. I know I have weighed at scales with my truck. The front end does 70% of the braking. It's hard to believe but even on icey roads it feels safer mostly because you have wt. on the front end for steering. You might not believe it til you try it.

The worse part of this whole thing is that you would actually by installing this be admitting that you are indeed overweight. Some of you couldn't handle that admission.

The Stinger Hitch hitchhelper doesn't claim to haul more than you are allowed. By using An equalizer hitch doesn't mean you are overloaded it means you are trying to make your load safer. It is the same with the hitch helper, only it works with a load in the box or a GN. With my big GN flatbed I haul the same load as before but it feels safer.

JJ I see your truck is lifted. I also have an older F150 lifted 6". The Stinger hitchhelper works great on it. Without it the truck wonders real bad beacuse of all the lift with a load on it. The Stinger Hitchhelper works great on it. I wouldn't haul any kind of a load without it. Again Stinger doesn't claim to increase your GVW. I believe they have a satisfaction guarantee so if you don't like it you'd only be out the shipping to send it back. Give it a shot.
