Hi, don't forget to give the credit to the two people from the states that actually got Choffy's boy and mother the airplane tickets and a house where they stayed while in the U.S. And also Noe and Estella for getting all the paperwork done in Mexico.
While I agree with moisheh that some regulars in many parks can be unfriendly to "new people", it isn't limited to Mexico. We unfortunately had to spend this winter in Yuma, and found the same thing here. I suppose it's the same everywhere. Our experience in La Penita RV park was similar the first year that we stayed there, although, by being on Bill and Dot Bell's Caravan, we had our own group of friends when we got there. While we wern't shunned, we just felt that we wern't really accepted by some. By our second year, we felt much more accepted by the oldtimers, some who had been coming to the park for 30 years or more. We stayed for two days at Celistino RV Park last year, and found the more permanant residents to be very friendly.

I agree, Moisheh, this park has a very good and friendly ambience. This note comes directly from Villa Celeste, a sort of testament to good WiFi signals. This is our fist visit, but we have heard glowing reviews by friends. The beach is good for a long walk, maybe not so many shells, although there are a few. A nice array of rocks await the viewing and today there was a tide pool! Wave action is impressive off shore, but it reaches a gradual slope of the beach to become unobtrusive.
Mornings are cool at this time of the year, we were told. We had a low morning fog that cleared with sunrise. The hosts, Noe and Esthela, and their staff are fine people - from which all manner of fine things emminate.
