I bought a pair of Livewire whips for my ATVs. I put a red whip on the red quad, and a yellow one on the yellow quad (call me silly). A Park Ranger at Ocotillo Wells had me unplug the red whip because he said "... that color is reserved for law enforcement..." What?!

I've gone through the CVC (California Vehicle Code) soup to nuts and I can't find any indication that my red whip is illegal. My law enforcement buddies have said as long as it isn't strobing it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll be running both of them at Buttercup March 21st through 23rd. I'll holler at y'all from the clink, but I love my Livewire whips!

At least now you know how to spot the law enforcement at night.

I love my livewire, great company and great product, had it out for two or three trips. My buddy got a safeglow and had no problemts this weekend, first weekend out. I have the red white and blue and love it, its a great interior dome light as well, very bright and the pics just dont do it justice. i think a solid color with one different one on the very top would be cool.

Ok, everyone chime in. What is a good setup for a Rhino? Who makes it and how much did you pay? I liked Tura's and Strabos that we got to see at the AGW. I also liked the remote one by someone else and Vikings looked cool also. I want to put mine on the top cross bar of my roll cage and use the hole in the back for a CB antenna.

Hey Coach,
I make the remote control ones; send me a PM if you're interested.
