A stern awning is a great addition. A side awning gives too little useable space and you get wet when it rains. We find that in summer with temps above 87 degrees we prefer to stay and eat inside camper than to put up an awning or set up a tent cover. We did buy one but never used it.

You're a good salesman for Outfitter, just by posting pictures. I was already sold, except for the price.
We added a 8 foot ShadeMaker bag awning to our Palomino last year. It is plenty big for 2 of us to sit under. We have a small bag table we use between us to eat off of. I don't leave it on going down the road, I slide it inside along the side between the cabover bed and a rear cabinet. I have seen to many with mold all over them from water leaking in while driving and then not dried out.
I put an awning rail on both sies of the camper so I can put it on the side that makes sense for the camp site. I also added a awning rail in the rafters of the garage so I can hang it up to dry out if I have to put it away wet.

CEWILLIS,
Hey, I'm not a salesman for anybody except myself! Do you need your house painted? LOL (I'm a painting contractor, but Tuscon is too far for me to drive!) I thought we were talking about awnings here?? And I couldn't afford it either...robbed a bank!
Now that's a great idea there Jim...1 awning to go on either side! Ingenious!!!

We have 2 awning's on our TC and we also bring a 10X10 canopy.
Before you spend $$$$ on a awning for your TC that your not sure you would use, I would recommend trying a canopy first.
We use our side awning every time we camp unless the winds are too strong then we take it down. I would not be without one myself.

The narrow short rear extending awning that came on my Bigfoot 2500 is useless and a waste of money. I could see the full width, long, rear extending awnings being of some value.

bcbigfoot, I do think they could have done better...but as I said, it's better than nothing.
We use the rear crank out awning every time we camp. It just takes seconds to crank out. It seems that we only use the side awning occassionaly, usually if we are staying in one place for a while or if we are in a place with no natural shade. It's a roll out from Carefree of Colorado.
