You say it's fuzzy when you went to set the signal strength. This is a clue, the page you see when you are on the antenna pointing page is locally generated, (Means it is generated by the receiver, NOT something you get from above) so if that page is Fuzzy your problem is between the receiver and your television.

Now: Tell me about that link. How is it hooked up Are you using direct, composite video feed? or RF, does the RF cable from the sat receiver go direct to the TV or through a switch or switch network. If a switch what kind Are there any splitters or other devices between the receiver and the TV

What channel is your TV on, and does that channel have a station in your area (And is the receiver set to the same channel)

From the answer to these questions I can advise more

before I even got a signal and the receiver was at the signal strenth screen it was fuzzy.

This comment makes me almost positive it is a connection issue between the receiver and the TV. I'll bet you find a loose connection or a cable with a broken ground.

If a switch what kind Are there any splitters or other devices between the receiver and the TV... From the DTV box via coax to the multi switch box. TV2 has a splitter and feeds the Bed TV and Ext. TV jack. Ooops. Forgot something. There are 3 coax connectors in the wall in the cabinet. 2 are incoming. 1 from exterior (ie for portable) 1 from roof. And an outgoing that labeled TOO switch box. Which is lame really as it just makes a loop through the side of the cabinet and comes back in the rear. Then into the Sat on the switch box. I tore those 3 jacks apart also.

What channel is your TV on, and does that channel have a station in your area (And is the receiver set to the same channel) Everything set to channel 3.

Figured "after the race I would try to bypass the switch box and go right into the front TV. If THAT clears it up? That would tell me it is in or around the switch box.

Has this 'switchbox' ever worked? And yes, if it clears up of course it's in the switchbox.

Just bypassed everything and came from the DTV box to the main from TV into the back of it and it still does it. Leeds me to now believe that it is an internal power or interference problem.
Errrrrr MAYbe just around this park but I dout it. Always been clear here before. : (

This is a good suggestion. I have seen a few cases were the shielding around the cable has gotten wet, acts as a water wick and will very rarely, but can cause interference. But have a strange feeling that the power supply for that switch (if its an electronic switch), just might be bad. Would suggest subbing cable from antenna right to converter for system. OOPS sorry, it appears that you might have already done that. If you are still getting interference, is from an outside(radiating) source or from something running in coach.

It was a coax out of a bag. All other ones I pretty much wrenched down behind the switchbox and all. Something else. The signal coming out of the DTV box when at the house is clear. In case someone was wondering.

When I said "It was a coax out of a bag" that was to the TV by passing the switchbox. I'll try replacing the one from the dome to the DTV box..........

No that didnt help. Then I relized that I had tried it once without incoming at all attached and it still did it. Duhhh. HAS to be some sort of interference.

Thanks all BTW for handing out suggestions

You may want to head over to DBSTalk register (it's free) and post your question under the appropriate receiver type. There are some very knowledgeable friendly people on the forum.
