If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

My thoughts also, they were giddy knowing they were getting another taxpayer funded Holiday that no working people get.

Let me apologize for all of us taxpayer funded employees, especially those who have to work the holidays. Police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, sewer treatment plant workers, water department workers, etc. And for those "working people" like those running the power grid, restaurants, stores, shopping centers, gas stations, etc. Glad you're enjoying your day off.

Glad you had such a nice experience. The DMV are people also.

Here in Michigan it cost me a flat $200 for a plate on my 34 foot trailer. That plate is good for as long as I own the trailer. No annuals!!!

Next year do it on line now that you have it "fixed". For the $3.00 fee I just stayed home and let them mail the stickers to me.

It won't be fixed. It was "fixed" last year and "fixed" the year before.

I'm in Alabama too. I always do the vehicles online, but was informed that they can't and won't send out notices on the camper. :-(

So have to go in person for it.

Must be your probate office. We get one on the 5er and one on the utility trailer. But the utility trailer notice has nothing but question marks in all the amount blocks. Luckily Millbrook has a small DMV. I've never been more than 3rd in line and they have 3 ladies working there.

Not sure how much it is but here in Missouri you can get a lifetime plate for a 5er but not a TT. You can buy a 3 year plate for a trailer ($36) and cars and trucks are renewed every two years.

You should see how they react when you have the dealer take the tags off a car you are not trading in and put them on your new car, then turn in the tags from the vechile you trade in. Throws them for a loop. They start repeating things like "You can't do that". Well, Mam, I did so..... "But you can't do that". Yeah, got that part, can I have some new tags for my car??? "But why did you do that". Ummm, cuz they're organizational plates for the squad and I'd like them on my car and not my daughters. "Well let me get a supervisor, the dealer should not have done that.." Yeah, um, ok.

Fpresto, I think the record for shortest visit at the Loveville MVA to renew a license belongs to me. They had me out of there in about 10 minutes, and the stop included a bathroom break.
