We have a 5th wheel and need a ladder to wash and wax the coach during the 6 months we travel in the winter. Any suggestions as to style, folding, extension, painter, etc, and height to reach 12"9" ? Price, weight and storage size are the obvious considerations, any others also appreciated.

I carry a four foot A type, and use a telescoping washing pole with the water that flows thru it. The ladder is for the windshield bug removal detail, since I'm in a "A". That systems seems to work well for me. As you mentioned, weight and storage is an issue. I'm 5'6", and the RV is 12'6". JM2Cents Bill

We have a lightweight ladder that fits in the basement. I can be used either as an A Frame or an extention ladder. I can reach the top of our 5er with it. Found it at Walmart for about $70.

I had my telescoping ladder for 13 years, and have been carrying it in my 5er for 8 years of fulltime. It fits in a steel drop down compartment in the overhang just behind my pin box on my Fleetwood Prowler Regal AX6. I have two of these compartments one on each side behind the pin box.
