Anybody see the TV news reports of tornados yesterday in Alabama and Florida panhandle showing the Cedar Creek 5er laying on it's side in a field? Looked like the glass was all broken out but I was surprised to see how it had maintained it's structural integrity after what must have been a very rough ride. Hope no one was in it at the time (or if there was someone, that they survived OK).
Do 5th wheel trailers typically survive rough weather better than mobile homes or travel trailers? Motorhomes?

My 5er has been in 3 tornados in the last 3 years on the road, it is still in very good shape, we live in it fulltime since Dec.2003. Just what works for us.

Wow, three tornados! Post where you are camping so we will go someplace else

Was the rig actually hit by the tornados, or were they in the area?
