Terry-YUCKKYYY!!! UT-OH!! I glad to hear that you guys weren't traveling to somewhere and it happened. I'm also glad you guys tuned in and noticed the vibration. Those lucky stars were a god sent. Somebody was telling you guys something. Keep us informed.
Judy- I am SSSOOOOOO sorry to hear about your neck and arm. I am glad the Doc's gave you some relief. Hope you feel and get better super soon. Smooches!
Butch- Glad to hear Karla and family have started their big adventure. Major BUMMER about her sister with her finances and her mom's mishap. Tell Karla to give hugs and kisses to her mom for me so she gets better soon. Can't wait to see the pic's.

Butch, thanks for the info. My DS and BIL are taking that same trip in August. I'll let them know.
Judy, take care of that neck. I'm thinking REST is good ... and then there's the drugs.
Steve & Terry, drive shaft or U-joint problem? Those things are not very forgiving. Should be easy to fix and hopefully not too pricey $$

Just to keep this thread of misery going, our toad developed a broken axle shaft today. Fortunately, I was able to drive it to the toad-doctor and now it's all better. Tomorrow it gets new tires. As Cheri reminds me...it's cheaper than a new toad $$$$$$$$$

Shelia made it home YAY........ Now we can start to really enjoy our home...
Terry I hope that it is a easy fix and I am glad you didn't stranded somewhere. I have always had a fear of something happening while one a one lane road and blocking the road. There was a couple times driving out here we ran into some road work and the highway was down to one lane with concrete barriers and no where to go.....
You all make it a great day

Good Thursday morning!
Well, my neck is somewhat better, but still not a 100%. I got my fingers crossed that by the time I go back to my Dr. everything will be A OK and I'll be able to get back to work. I actually miss it!
Lee, I bet you and Bri were really glad to see Shelia come home. Tell her we said "Welcome Home"
Terry & Steve, I hope the ow-ee on your MH doesn't cost you a pretty penny, got my fingers crossed that it's not as bad as it sounds.
Joel, hope your pinched nerve is doing better.
Have a good day all!

I talked to Karla this morning from Berlin.
They are having a great time. She said she likes the "freestyle dinning" also but you have to kinda plan a little on what time to eat. She said that around 7-7:30 there can be some long lines at the main restaurants but there are many other choices. Dress is very casual, only one of them won't allow jeans and tshirts.
The seas have been very calm and having nice weather also.
Rick I also asked a little more about the money exchange. So far they have needed to get Pounds in London for the bus and transfers. They used an ATM for this. It seems that in Copenhagen and Berlin they will accept Dollars in the Main tourist areas and everyone so far has been ok with Visa or MC. She said that if you exchange more than you will spend there is 5% fee to convert it back.
She said only down side so far is her and Kelly don't get much of their own time in the evenings. I guess her mom and Cassidy need a lot of help and attention. None the less she is enjoying the trip.
Of course she misses me and wished I was there. I told her that maybe they should have invited me and I might have gone.
I'm not sure if I will talk to her tomorrow. They have a "day at sea" before they reach Tallin Estonia.

Hi Butch,
Please check with your Visa and MC issuer. Most of them are charging between 1.5% to 4% in converting foreign currencies into Dollars when you use the card abroad. This is over and above a very favorable (to them) exchange rate.

Ok, what would you say if the tow truck company called you and said "Guess What! When we unhooked your MH we knocked off BOTH of the mirrors." I think I might get in trouble if I posted what I said.
On the plus side, the tow truck company is buying us two new mirrors!
Marcelle this is another yuuuuuucccccccky Ut Oh!!!!!! moment!
