Well after much debate we are going to be cancelling the SAL trip. As much as we hate to it is just another cut we will have to make. Karla's work is going as strong as ever but my next year forecast is not looking so good. We are making business cuts on a daliy basis. I hope that things do turn around soon.

I have almost every company vehicle I own up for sale. I have 11 DMV registerd trucks and trailers and I only have 4 employees.

Couple that with the people I am trying to collect from makes for a not so pretty picture.

OH well enough crying...its just life...right??????

Have fun Guys....I hope to be there in Feb!!!!

Butch that's a total bummer. I am sure you and Karla will be missed. But it is understandable and maybe with a little conserving now will help a lot in the future. I bet it was a hard decision to make being your that close and all. Just remember you are BOTH loved and if there is anything that we can do "LET US KNOW"..

We would love to be there also but 2500 miles is a long way.

Butch, I am sooooooo sorry to hear that you and Karla are unable to make it to SAL. You guys will be so missed. We certainly understand and hope and pray that the economy turns around soon. Ray thinks he is going to get laid off when logging season ends in the fall.

Ray is going to work on our 5er slides this morning up at our storage lot. One of the slides is not closing all the way in one corner. I will be the official helper!

Happy Birthday Adam, I hope your dad is great!

Have a safe weekend everyone.

It is about 100/100. That is close to 100° and 100% humidity today. But with this view out our windshield we are inside with the generator running and both airs on and very comfortable.

Butch, I sure know how you feel. I've been out of work since early May and its very tough. We've been selling some stuff on E-Bay and at least Bonnie's working and getting benefits. Hopefully something will come along soon (for both of us!).

Oh Lee, I don't care what you say, that was funny! I guess it didn't catch on though

Ray spent 6 hours fixing the broken bracket on the big slide of our 5er yesterday. He had to tear off the under belling of the RV to get at everything. He replace a couple of bolts on the bracket and added a few more. That snugged everything up and the slide corner now closes properly.

I am sure glad he is mechanical and can fix these sort of things. I hate to think of how much it would have cost us, had we paid someone to fix it

Meanwhile, I spent about 5 hours, priming, painting and faux painting the. We were both pooped last night to say the least.

Christine, enjoy tomorrow with the kids, I hope it gets cooler in your neck of the woods!

Dan, nice picture! Glad you guys stayed nice and cool. Sorry Jimmy didn't win

Adam, how was the b day celebration? How is your head this morning

Have a good day all!
