We made it to Redding by noon yesterday (9/13) where we met up with Steve and Terry at the Redding Premier RV Resort. It's a very nice RV park. Very quiet.
We took a little sight seeing tour and went to sundial bridge. It's not too far from our campground.

Today the D&C tour is headed up to the Mt. Lassen area. We will go check on our property, check out hat creek and tour some of Mt. Lassen. It should be an all day trip!

Yesterday, Day 2 of the D&C Tour was spent up in the Mt. Lassen area. We stopped by our property in Shingletown on the way up and was happy to find that no one had taken up residency on it since the last time we were there, two years ago! We did find a fallen tree and will need to take a chain saw with us next time to clear it off our dirt road in.
Then it was on to Mt. Lassen, which is only about 10 miles from our property. Awesome place, lots to see and we didn't see it all.

We toured around Mt. Lassen for a while, had a picnic lunch overlooking Manzanita lake.

Great view huh?
We drove up 44 stopping along the way to take in the sights, checking out Hat Creek in several spots. When we got to Burney we headed down 299 back to our campground and got back in time for cocktail hour!
We finished the day with dinner at the Cattlemen's restaurant and had a great steak dinner!
This morning we leave for OR WhoooooooHoooooooooo!
