Are the tarantulas also out this time of year...yes, I think they are...so on your way into SAL you may see them crossing the road, and be on the lookout around the campsite for the little furry critters!
For the newbies that haven't yet matched names to faces, there is a reason Doug is keeping Lee's a secret...HA HA...NOT....you will soon feel like part of the SAL family! Very much looking forward to seeing everyone...and

Jack knows that he could affect my concentration when driving, so he stays put throughout the drive....and only after getting settled in does he usually join in the festivities :-)

Good Thursday morning!
Today the flooring guy is coming back to finish up a few minor things and hopefully (fingers crossed) by the end of today we can say that the repairs are all commpleted! It's been almost three months ago that this whole thing started.
Lee, Lee, Lee, you know you are LOVED!!! You set yourself up posting that picture. Good job Dan.

Today we head out for Myrtle Beach. This is going to be a huge rally 95+ rigs. We will miss you all more then you know. But know that we will be there in spirit (no not Jack's) LoL...... Please have cameras ready for the arrival of Joel. Keep an eye on Dan and Doug.. Double D's tend to get in to trouble. At least they do me. Ha ha ha... Please hug each other for us..... Banana pancakes YUM.... Steve's smile... Ray's laugh... Sherry's HUGS... Bingo... I could go on..

Lee, you never worry me a bit!(I may worry ABOUT you  ) I think you are kinda special too! Have some good times in MB. Get some new potluck recipes for us and take pictures! You three know there will always be a light on for you here. Always.
It is cloudy here today and we may have RAIN this weekend and a chance of snow in the high sierras. Boy when the weather changes, it changes! But we are NOT complaining, love the cooler days!

We are in Gatlinburg, TN at Smoky Bear Campground. Tomorrow we are going to tour "The Great Smoky Mountains" in the car. Then we will head to Myrtle Beach on Saturday...

Awwwwww Lee-you being in Gatlinburg reminds me of when we were there 2 summers ago and we toured "The Great Smoky Mountains" in the car too. Boy, what AWESOME memories that was. Have a blast.  Smooches to Brianna and Shelia.

I've been to Gatlinburg, TN twice. The first time it was just a blurr. Ray was driving a rental car(he won't stop for anything but potty breaks). The second time was with my DD, my SIL & my niece and we played tourist in another rental car. We went to the aquarium there that was really awesome.

Yes, we took a nice drive up the Coast and stopped by Bodega, Jenner, Goat Rock and Duncan Mills. We had supper in Santa Rosa. A really fun day and the weather was perfect. Getting really excited about SAL. We do hope the fire at Hunter Liggett gets put under control.
