Hi Everyone,
We have had a slight change for this weekend. Steve and the MH will probably still be there Thurs. night, but I won't be there until Friday evening. A dear friend has a family emergency and has asked me to sub for her for awhile. So starting Tuesday I will be a working gal for a bit. Keep your fingers crossed I don't get lost, LOL. Oh and if I am not there by midnight would you send out "search and rescue"?

WOW!! I hate when work is so busy I can't keep up with the Forum! I got to read from page 232 to 254. That's a lot I missed! Rose & Newton, fabulous pictures!! Rose, that dress you have on is Beautiful! And the Bride and Groom look very happy. Newton is one lucky fella.
Happy Birthday to all of those I missed in the past 6 weeks or so. I mean, belated birthday wishes!
BRUCE: thank you for reposting the countdown timer. Just in time!! You will be missed, I bet you could have hooked us up with a webcam for Lee & Shelia... maybe in February.
Loved all the pictures from the D&C Oregon trail. Wish we'd been with you. Lee, give Missy Brianna a big hug from me and I'm hoping it works out for her to go into that wonderful program over there in Banjo country. Meanwhile, you know you always have a bed here on So Cal if you come to visit...it's looking like we may have to push out timetable back more than 2 years too but I'm still hoping....
DOUG - you are my hero and don't forget, the President of the SAL Geriatric Ski Team. You make me laugh and laugh (thank you).
We'll head out at o-dark thirty or sooner on Friday and have Stewart with us again this year. He is 4 now and more "all-boy" than last year. Not as shy anymore either!! I took Rosslyn out shopping today for Grandma time so she wouldn't feel bad when she doesn't get to come with us (school ya' know)... I'm thinking we'll try to get her out somewhere locally over her Christmas holidays from school.
Anyone staying over to Monday?? We plan to, with a 9am start for home (8 if Bill has his way)... See ya'll soon!

PS: Butch - I know your feeling. I love our MH, but still love and miss our little truck camper. It was 11.5 feet and fitted our family to a T. The shower wasn't as roomy as the one in the MH but that was only because the toilet was in the corner. Sure was an easy bathroom to clean though!! and the escape hatch in the king-sized bed over the cab was a perfect stargazing tool. Congrats on the sale of the MH. Any hope you might come fill one of the empty spots at SAL? We're all rooting for it ya' know!
And, I forgot to welcome our new friends to meet, glad you signed onto RV net. We look forward to meeting you!
Uh-oh, white elephant... must remember to pack them. Only 5 sleeps til go-time!

Good morning. Thanks for the b day wishes Butch!
Got my rally stuff all completed and packed this weekend. My bro came over Saturday afternoon and brought me a really nice b day gift! That was a big surprise!! He also worked on my computers for me too. Thanks bro!
Sunday Ray offered to take me to Famous Dave's BBQ (my favorite) to celebrate my b day! But I asked if he'd take me to the movies instead. We went to see "Nights in Rodanthe" it was a real tear jerker, not a dry eye in the house after it was over. Lots of women in the audience to see this love story and 3 wives (besides me) dragged their husbands in. Mostly the audience was single woman. The movie was pretty good, but be sure to bring some tissues if you go see it.
Jill, good to hear from you, looking forward to seeing you at SAL. Only 3 more wakes ups until we leave. Four if Ray and I can't get off of work early on Thursday.
Terry, we'll leave a light on for you (and our cell phones on). I am sure you will be able to find us on Friday night. Drive carefully.
See you all soon!
