Well I made it.... They still don't know what the problem is... It rained today here and didn't make it to 70. I am sure that we will get the humidity soon enough but for now it is GREAT weather. It should rain again tomorrow and be in the mid 70's.......

I also signed us up for "The Rally" in New Mexico next April... Sound like fun time.

Hey, Lee, it's not raining in California...but, of course, it also isn't 70. On the good side, however, it's only 119 days till Fall!

I don't want to talk about the weather that is coming, not in front of Smarty Pants Lee! 70 degrees is for wimps (she says thru her sniffling and sweating).

Lee, please close your eyes... OK, now that he isn't loking I have a GREAT idea. Let's pretend that the weather stays COOL this summer. He won't know!!!! We can say there has been a miracle since the Brandts moved to Tenn. and suddenly this part of California has become the new San Diego!!!! OK Lee you can open your eyes now!

Motorhome Update!

The drive train thingy is fixed! AND the extended warranty we have thru Good Sam's paid for it.(We had a small deductible). Now we are waiting for the tow company's insurance to come and look at the damage they caused, but those parts have been ordered! So things are moving forward!

Have a really good and wonderfully lovely San Diego-type day !

Linda, hope you & Robin have a safe trip. Even if there is some white stuff on the ground. I bet you'll get some great pics! Buffalo in the snow perhaps!

Get some flannel sheets, an electric blanket and a portable electric heater. Use the heater if you have electric hookups and save your propane.

I've never been to Yellowstone (some day) but last 4th of July we went to Yosemite and it was 112 on the valley floor. We didn't get out of the air conditioned car much. Amazing how much you can see from the car window!

Thanks we are taking it slow. We have reservations for Yosemite Lakes over July 4th this year. I hope it is not that hot or we will be doing the same thing you did. Sightseeing from the car.

We stayed at Yosemite Lakes several years ago in early July. It was very hot but the valley floor wasn't too bad. We stayed out in 'the field' so there was no shade. If you can find a spot amongst the trees at least you get good shade and the river is right behind the area.
